Kangana Ranaut alleges Tunisha Sharma’s death is a ‘murder’, urges PM Narendra Modi to implement stricter laws against polygamy without consent
Tunisha Sharma, a TV actress untimely death has left everyone in deep shock. The actress, who was just 20, took an extreme step and decided to take her life by hanging herself on the sets of a TV show in Vasai, Maharashtra. Now soon after her funeral took place, Bollywood and TV industry are reacting to the same while voicing their opinion. The latest one is Kangana Ranaut.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram stories and wrote a long note on how women face abuse and what mentally one goes through when the other partner cheats. She urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to implement strict laws against polygamy, acid attack against women and other crimes like chopping off the body into many pieces.
She also wrote “Her reality was not the same as the other person who was in it only to use and abuse her physically and emotionally. When it is revealed to her, her reality starts to wrap, distort itself, shift shape to fit in the facts that are revealed to her in a shocking manner.”

For the unversed, Tunisha Sharma was found dead on December 24, 2022, on the sets of her TV show. Her body was found hanging by a fan in a make-up room of her co-star and rumoured ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan. The TV show crew rushed her to a nearby hospital, but she was announced dead upon arrival.
Tunisha’s mother filed an FIR against her ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan, who was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide. Reportedly, Tunisha and Sheezan had broken up 15 days before she died by suicide.
